from underneath the chair is very tangled which adds great detail. this is how i left the chair to dry and form its stiff 3D shape for next weeks work.
The chair with the mutton cloth and tights, shaped to a very simple pattern from the side.
Week four was interesting, using tights and mutton cloth soaked in PVA glue and shaped around a chair with help of cling film and pins. This was my starting point of the whole project. A chair wrapped in cling film.
